Think about it… for most of us, our mindset is focused on work, or basically, “What do I need to get done today?” The things we must do will always be there and sure, we must get them done (eventually). I’m not saying be lazy and don’t do what you need to do. But what if simply shifted our mindset so that every morning we asked ourselves, “What can I do to have some FUN today?!”
Now if getting a daily dose of FUN is already part of your life then “WOOOOO-HOOOO!!!”… KUDOS to you and keep at it! 🙂
But if it’s not, I invite you to think about 5 things (that’s my suggested minimum… feel free to have more on your list!) that are really FUN and interesting to you… things you love to do and that don’t require a lot of preparation and that you could easily integrate into your day.
For example some of the things on my list would be: (1) playing with my kitty-cats, (2) asking a friend to lunch, (3) taking a walk on nice weather days, (4) listening to a podcast or watching a YouTube video of someone that inspires me, (5) taking a yoga or exercise class that I really like.
What would be on YOUR list? Feel free to share it below. 🙂 Once you have your list, I invite you to actually schedule these things into your week… go and add one of your FUN activities onto your calendar every day!
In our fast-paced and often demanding world, it’s so easy to get caught up in the energy of intensity and urgency. I totally get that… in fact, I sometimes succumb to it myself! But if we commit each and every day to doing at least one thing that is interesting, exciting and fun, we can break that cycle of intensity and urgency which otherwise weighs us down and depletes us.
So here’s a 30-day challenge for you… for 30 days in a row… GO HAVE FUN!!!
All is well, and you will never get it done. Life is supposed to be fun.
No one is taking score of any kind, and if you will stop taking score so much, you will feel a whole lot better — and as you feel a whole lot better, more of the things that you want right now will flow to you.
Everything is unfolding perfectly. All is really well. Have fun. Have fun. Have fun!

I enjoy listening to my favorite songs on my playlist (lots of 70’s stuff!).
